Here in Missouri, we are almost a full year into the Covid Crazy thing. I just wanted to stop and appreciate how much has changed in a year and how much has stayed the very same.  Naively, sitting down at this time last year I was preparing for my kids to have spring break. We were all still on the high of our recent trip to Nashville in January for my Professional Photographers of America Convention.  No big spring break trip was planned for that year anyway, I was looking forward to a few days of spring cleaning at home.  Then fear and panic set in as the media started blowing up with all the news stories and information.

I could go on and on about the things that didn't go right in that year but what would be the point be of that. So much more has gone right than wrong. As a Mom, I have gained so much more insight into my children's needs. As a women-owned business, I have made great allies with other women-owned businesses. As a photographer, I have been able to enjoy some very special moments from birthdays, to engagements to weddings that became so much about the things I love family. I have gotten to know fabulous people who share their world with me, while I get to help them etch this moment into their memory banks and walls for years to come. 

As the Spring blossoms once again fall upon us, I hope when you look back on this season of Covid you can look back on fond memories of family connection. I hope you find peace and motivation for a new beginning.  It has been a time of great loss but in the loss, we always find a new way.
